Therapy Services

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique experiences, goals, relationships, and patterns, and I tailor our work to meet their individual needs.

I provide therapy for individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, emotional difficulties, life transitions, recovery, trauma, and personal growth.

Couples Therapy

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also bring recurring conflict, disconnection, hurt, and uncertainty.

Couples therapy provides a space to slow down patterns that may feel difficult to change on your own and develop healthier ways of communicating and connecting.

I work with couples who are experiencing:

  • Communication difficulties and recurring conflict

  • Emotional disconnection

  • Difficulty feeling heard or understood

  • Trust and intimacy concerns

  • Relationship transitions

  • Differences in needs, expectations, or values

  • Patterns that seem to repeat despite your best efforts

  • Challenges related to infidelity and rebuilding trust

My goal is to help couples understand the patterns they are caught in, take greater responsibility for their part in those patterns, and develop more respectful, connected ways of relating.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a space to step back from the demands of everyday life and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, and the patterns that may be affecting your relationships and well-being.

I work with individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety and emotional challenges

  • Life transitions and major changes

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Self-esteem and self-worth concerns

  • Difficulty setting boundaries

  • Recurring relationship patterns

  • Stress and emotional overwhelm

  • Recovery and addiction-related concerns

  • Personal growth and greater self-understanding

Together, we can explore what is happening beneath the surface, develop practical tools, and work toward creating a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.

EMDR & Trauma-Informed Therapy

Difficult experiences can continue to affect us long after the event itself has passed. Sometimes we understand intellectually that something happened in the past, but our emotional or physical responses continue to feel very present.

I incorporate trauma-informed approaches into my work and have completed EMDR training.

EMDR can be used to help process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional intensity associated with memories, triggers, and patterns that continue to affect daily life.

Trauma-informed therapy emphasizes safety, collaboration, choice, and respect for each person's individual pace and experience.

Recovery & Addiction Counseling

My background in addiction counseling is an important part of my professional experience. I hold a CADC III credential and have nearly three decades of experience working in the field of addiction and recovery.

I understand that addiction rarely affects only one person. Substance use can influence relationships, families, emotional well-being, trust, communication, and a person's sense of identity.

I work with individuals navigating recovery as well as clients exploring the ways substance use and addictive patterns may be affecting their relationships and lives.

An Integrative Approach

My therapeutic approach draws from a variety of evidence-based and relational perspectives, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Attachment-based approaches

  • Mindfulness

  • EMDR

  • Gottman-informed approaches

  • Relational Life Therapy-informed work

  • Mind-body and breathwork practices when clinically appropriate

I don't believe that one modality works for everyone. Instead, I draw from different approaches and tailor our work to the person or relationship in front of me.
